MOTAT 

At MOTAT I really thought we were workers.

Motat

At Motat I looked at diffrent stuff I really think this is really cool

I felt like we were workers.  

Nouns, adjectives, adverbs,verbs

Reflection

I have learnt to find nouns and adjectives and adverbs  and verb.

It was easy because on the writing wall it shows the meaning.

I now know that the adjectives means if they're happy it is a describing word

I need to work finding more about adverbs.

Reflection

Reading the minutes on an analogue clock

Reflection
I am learning to tell the time.
It was easy because the clock can help you by counting in your fives to get the minutes.
I need to work on remembering it's not the number the long hand points to.

Instructional writing

Reflection
I learnt to write a set of instructions. It was tricky to figure out what to put into the equipment list and then the instructions.  I need to work on adding more detail by adding similes.

Extending new vocabulary

Reflection
I am learning to actively seek to extend knowledge  of new vocabulary. This means finding a word that you don't know what the meaning is. It was tricky because in the dictionary we had to find the
first letter in the word then we had to find the next letter.  I need to work on what I think it means and what it means so I can tell more information.

Summarising using keywords

I have learned to find keywords.  I think this was easy because who, where, what, when, who are used to find keywords.

Structure of a recount

Reflection
I have been learning to structure a recount.  I know this is an orientation because it has the 5Ws.  It was easy to write a conclusion.  I need to work on remembering to add more sequencing words.

I have learned  reflection this was easy because if you look at the other side it can help you.

Moana's Features of Non-Fiction Texts

Reflection
I have learned to identify features of non-fiction texts and describe their purpose.I found this hard because some times I can't match the words. My next steps are to use the features and of non-fiction texts to help me understand the information better.

Rugby clinic writing

I have learned to add detail to my writing.We have to add wow words. My next steps are to write and add an interesting sentence.

Language of Fractions

Reflection:
I have learned that denominator is the bottom number in a fraction that tells us how many pieces there are in the whole.  My next steps are to learn the names of different fractions.

Making connections

I am learning to make connections.  It was easy to think of something from my life to help me understand scaredy crow's feelings.

My Make Believe Land

I have leant to add new words like believe.

It was easy to plan it.

It was hard to edit my work.
